I am becoming dependant on this forum for food ideas!

I want to make a pasta type thing tonight as I have chicken thighs, pasta, green beans and thickened cream.

Oh, we have celery and cashews as well, if that helps!

What I'm not sure of is what to do with it all!

Only seasonings we can have are garlic, chives, shallot and salt.

Any help for the clueless?

I have a food blog.
First put a big pot of water for the pasta on to get to the boil. Now get on with the sauce.

Slice the thighs into bite size pieces and brown in a little olive oil in batched. Set aside.

In the same pan with a little more oil, fry some finely diced shallots and garlic. If you've got some white wine or vermouth, deglaze with half a glass of this, otherwise just a little of the now boiling water from the big pasta pot, scraping up all the brown bits at the bottom.

Salt the water in the big pot and pop in the pasta.

Add the chicken into the winey shallot and garlic. Add the cream and reduce over medium heat until thick and saucy and the chicken is cooked through. Check for seasoning.

Add the beans to the pasta water when it's about half cooked. When the pasta and beans are done, drain and add to the sauce.
