during my routine Pap smear,my GP noted that I had a cervical polyp.I have no symptoms etc but referred me to the RBH to have it removed..I received a reply from them last week refusing my care as my local hospital which is geographically closer can do this procedure.i have had a terrible admission and treatment at this hospital in the past and the thought off going back to the Gynae dept there makes me feel physically sick.
fortunatly I have PH cover which I am willing to use.My question is who will be able to tell me the pathology/ histology costs of the procedure? And if I chose PH,is the histology automatically private as well or do Medicare cover this ?Thanks |
