I am looking for a dairy & egg free alternative to cocoa butter as I can't buy it where I live. Could I substitute coconut butter?

Depending on what you're making, copha can be a good substitute.

|
cocoa butter isn't dairy and doesn't have egg in it. it is the oils/fats pressed from the bean like olive oil is pressed from olives.
