Hi there,I was wondering if any mums out there have been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation? I've always had it-I have memories of issues as a child, and having testing done on my heart at around age 12. Obviously medical science has improved enormously in the last 25 years, and I had further testing done around 18 months ago. Over a 24hr period, where I wore a heart monitor, my heart had an extra 2800 beats, which to me feel like racing, missing beats, irregularities etc. I'm conscious of it most of the time, although notice it more when I am tired or stressed. This is my third and final pregnancy. Obviously the condition was there during my previous two, but I am feeling particularly tired and uncomfortable with this one (maybe due to summer heat/being an old woman!!). I was just wondering if anyone else has the same issues, if yes, were there any labour issues etc?
Look forward to your replies. Thanks for reading!Tasha original.gif
