No advice, however I would be objecting to pay the fees - Point out to them that you are leaving due to bullying by other students, who they have selected to be future leaders of the school.

I got out of one set of school fees without a terms notice...were extenuating circumstances thjough.

Another school I sucked it up, it was a bit of money but my fault really and I never asked.

I would ask, sounds like you have a good case, can't hurt either way. Explain the situation and see how you go!

Yes I would explain to the old school your reasons for your DD leaving and ask that fee be voided.

Alternatively if they refuse then make arrangements to pay it off over the coming year.

You can ask but it is totally at their discretion. You have signed a contract. Your having to pay fees at a competitor school is not really going to be a compelling reason for them to waive this very common enrolment condition.

As PP have said ask and see what happens.

As a 15-16 yo who went through a very dark patch (considered suicide) all that I can say is a change of school was like a fresh breeze. I happily completed year 11/12 at another school. I will always thank my mum who offered me the option of changing schools.
