I have some of the dark cocoa cant remember the name for maybe 2 years in tupperware in pantry. Does it go off? Would it be ok for cookies? Should I just put less as it is the dark one.

I wouldn't think it would "go off" and make you sick, it may be "best before..." as long as it looked fine and smelt fine I'd use it. Being in Tupperware would probably have helped also.

Nah... it's fine.
It might get a bit clumpy or it might get a bit less flavoursome - but it'll be fine. We had a huge tin of cocoa in the cupboard when I was a kid (I believe it was a 2lb tin so that gives you an idea of how old it was!) took years and years to use it all up! |
