How much do they cost?

Did they do your carpet cleaning too? Or did you use a different company?

My last place the carpet cleaners came in after the end of lease clean. I just got my normal cleaner to do a couple extra hours, but i know the cleaning company here charges $35 an hour. Carpet cleaning was around $150 for 5 rooms

The last place we moved from was a 3 bedroom house over 3 floors, with carpet in all the bedrooms (1 really large), floorboards throughout the rest. I was pregnant with DS2 when we moved and didn't feel up to doing any cleaning at all, so we had them do absolutely everything including windows and carpet steam cleaning, and they charged $400.

I was pretty impressed when we went back as they'd wiped down the insides of all the kitchen and bathroom cupboards, including the pantry shelving and removed a few last minute rubbish items I'd intended to go back for (and dispose of on the way home). The inside of the oven was spotless and all the reachable-without-a-ladder windows were clean inside and out. It was totally worth it for us.

The place we lived in before that was a 2 bedroom apartment (2 small bedrooms with carpet, floorboards throughout the rest) and, being pregnant with DS1, I didn't want to clean. The people who did that were recommended by the RE agent and cost $200 I think. They cleaned everything and steam cleaned the carpets.

The end of lease clean for our large two bedroom apartment with two large balconies was $450.
It was done by the real estate's recommended cleaner. Carpet, walls, blinds, balcony tiles and walls, the lot was cleaned. It was spotless and worth every cent.

Mum's bond clean of a four bedroom, two and a half bathroom townhouse was $600 about a year ago now. That included a return of bond guarantee, Mum had had a nasty experience with a real estate agent 12 years before that so was extra careful that her exit condition report had lots of receipts to back her up.
