Black Top or White Collared Shirt for a job interview???- I can't decide and am not sure which is more appropriate these days, as it has been 10yrs since my last interview,

I'd go white shirt over black top (as long as you can keep it clean! I struggle with white ). Wear some nice understated accessories and you'll be fine.

I prefer a collared shirt, I just think it looks more professional.

I always try to avoid white shirt black pants as I always fear that I might look like I've wandered into the wrong interview on my way to a waitressing job.

But a crisp white shirt never looks wrong.

I do a lot of interviews and people in ill fitted or yellowing white shirts look way worse than people in a plain t shirt with some nice jewelry and heels.

Wearing it with either black or navy pants and nice shoes.

Job is full time and no I am still @ tafe, but If I get the job I will be transferring to night class, which is only 1 night per week.

I have worked everything out re afterschool care and babysitting etc

No way shirt would be yellowing, as I bought it new yesterday, along with the black top.

Before school,- I start @ 9am and school opens @ 8.30, so not probs there.
Afterschool- MONDAY- JAck goes to Afterschool care, Hayley has football ( so will go home with a friend), TUESDAY (TAFE NIGHT) They will both catch the bus home and the old lady across the road will come over and feed them and wastch them until I get home, WED-FRI- they will both go to afterschool care.

School holidays- will be split between vacation care and MIL.

Lists- I will get heaps done before starting (eg unpacking etc) and I will have to be more organised and do rearrange when things get done.
