Am I the only one who thinks it's rude and gross to fart at the dinner table on purpose with guests over for dinner? Everyone seems to laugh about it.. but Dd's godfathers LOVE doing this. I find it revolting, and It puts me off eating..... I seriously don't like smelling someone's a$$ contents whilst trying to eat.

I think farting in front of other people at any time is rude and disgusting. But yes, even more so when you're eating. Its not funny. Why would I want to smell the air surrounding your faeces while I'm eating!!?

You are totally normal. They are not. TBH, I'd most likely stop having meals with them if they can't control themselves.

Well if it is on purpose that is revolting!

But it really is a normal bodily function which sometimes you have no control over.

Revolting, the height of bad manners and those people are just feral if they think it's in any way funny or acceptable sick.gif

I'd be leaving the table and not coming back.

Really? I would think that the only people who would have no control what so ever, are the very young, old and some SN. Everyone else should excuse themselves from the table or hold it in until they are in a more suitable place to relieve themselves. Yes, it is a normal bodily function, but there is a time and a place to do it. The dinner table is one of those places.
