Okay, okay, the topic title might be a little OTT but my cleaner came yesterday and did her normal clean incluing mopping all our polished boards (and tiles for that matter) with Selleys Wood Floor Cleaner. It was stinking hot yesterday so the house was all closed up but for the life of me I can't get this dreadful smell out of my house! I can only assume it's the floor cleaner. It doesn't have a pleasant smell at the best of times but its wafting from smelling like dog urine/kid urine/public toilets after they've had a supposed 'clean'.

I sometimes can get a little conscious of 'house' smells as I have 2 small dogs who basically live inside.

So tell me, what should I be using on my polished boards instead which would give the house a nice fresh smell?
