Hi,

My hens have just started laying, well two of the four have.
We got one egg the first day, none the second day, two the third day, one the forth day and today we got two.
Is this normal for when they start laying?

I never got one egg per day per hen. Before the foxes took mine, I had 13 hens and I'd normally get 5-6 eggs per day. Sometimes less, sometimes I'd get 7 but I never got 13.

Our 4 girls are approx 27 weeks old and they lay an egg each every single day (rarely but occasionally we get a bonus egg).
