I have actually asked OTEN this and got told two different things so I am dreadfully confused.

Do OTEN offer concession rates for their courses for people that live OUTSIDE of NSW??

OP

They did last July when a family member enrolled in one of their distance courses from Perth. They checked Centrelink through their computers somehow. But the information was wrong they emailed a copy of their Centrelink entitlement letter (I found if for them in their online centrelink account) and
they accepted it. They actually used OTEN because the concession rate of NSW was cheaper than the concession rate paid in WA and it was entirely online.

Thanks.

One of the enrolment advisers said yes (as apparently NSW stipulation just applies to indigenous australians now), but whoever runs their facebook page said no so I was getting a tad confused.

I was hoping to use it for DH so he can start some TAFE studies.

I did a course last year and they said no. If there is a way around it I wish I had known.
