I am looking for some software to organise my recipes. Right now, I use Living Cookbook but they are very far away from working out apps. I quite like using my iPad to cook from, and being able to access recipes while I'm grocery shopping.

Does anyone have any experience with Paprika or Macgourmet?

Ideally, I need it to be easy to import my existing LC recipes, and enter recipes from cookbooks and websites. Sorting is really important to me with categories and etc. shopping list is handy but not essential.

Thoughts?

I use paprika and am very happy with it. I only use it in the ipad though.

I have friends that now use it also and love it.

Not having used any other apps for recipes etc though I don't have much to compare it too....

certainly beats my old recipe folder thats for sure original.gif

I tried a few till I found Paprika. It is, by far, streets ahead of the rest.

I love the way it can pick up a recipe from the net so easily

Thank you both.

Daisy Goat, did you import your recipes from another program? Was that easy? I don't want to have to manually key all my very many recipes in. It was such a Pita when I set up living cookbook.
