Hi - what do you have for lunch? I usually end up eating a cheese and tomato sandwich every day. What else do you put in a sanga or what else do you have for lunch?

I don't especially want to cook every day but if there was a dish that i could eat for a few days, that would be helpful. Obviously soup is good for winter - but what about summer?

Thanks

Tinned tuna with microwaved frozen vegetables and sweet chilli sauce or sundried tomato pesto. I sometimes mix it up and add ham or leftover chicken breast.

Tuna sandwiches are good.

Could you try Ryvita's or vita wheats for a change?

I have a food blog.
My favourite lunch is tabbouleh with either beans or tuna. I could eat this every day.

Save me Barry!
I usually have left overs from the night before. But, if I don't have that I might have

* croissant with ham and cheese which has been in the oven until the cheese starts to melt

* cruskit with feta cheese spread on it with slices of tomato with cracked pepper and sea salt

* pasta with a pesto sauce

* scrambled eggs on toast

In winter I often do a baked potato with cheese or baked beans or baked beans and cheese biggrin.gif

Just everyday garden salad with chicken or tuna added
Cheese and chive toastie
Crackers celery sticks carrot sticks and hummus
Noodles with some frozen veg
When making a stir fry I make enough for next day left movies
Chicken and mayo salad sandwiches
Boiled egg mixed with whole egg mayo sandwiches
And sometimes old kiddy favourites from my childhood cheese lettuce and Vegemite sandwiches

I second salad. I always make a little extra the night before (we eat a lot of salads for dinner in summer) to ensure enough for lunch the next day. Today was a leftover coleslaw sandwich day. original.gif

I've been having Mountain Bread wraps lately. I just mix up what I have on them (ham and salad, chicken/lettuce/tomato/mayo, crumbed chicken and salad with sour cream and salsa, etc) so I don't get sick of the same thing. They're also yummy toasted and served with a side salad.

I've been having omelettes once or twice a week. Spinach, mushrooms and a bit of cheese in them. Yum

I'm having a bacon and egg sandwich with loads of butter today. I'm a little hungover though, it's not everyday lunch. ph34r.gif
