We have just returned our baby capsule and need to buy another seat. We have two cars - a VW Multivan and a Honda CRV.

We have an assortment of seats and four children:

17mo - tiny, not yet 9kg, so obviously rear-facing for quite some time to come. Is in a rear-facing Compaq Deluxe (VW).

4yo - quite solid. Getting too wide for a Compaq (H), a bit of room left width wise in the Premier (VW).

5yo - three weeks off 6yo, but also small, still VERY comfortable in his MR (VW), and Hi-Liner (H). Ocassionally in the Compaq in the Honda.

7yo - Hi-Liner (VW) and the very rare occassion we need to take all four children in the Honda, either a Pegasus or half booster. Otherwise, she is in a Hi-Liner in the back of the Honda.

Can anyone give me some ideas on who they would put in which seat - I was thinking to use one of the convertible seats for the baby in the Honda, and buy something new for one of the other children?

But I am more than open to ideas!!

What about a Maxi Rider Easy Adjust - they have an easy, no-thread harness system that can be adjusted without removing the seat. They also have very high height markers - and will fit your 4 and 5 year olds in the in-built harness and possibly your 7-year-old.

That would free up the Compaq and/or Premier for the baby.

It will also give you a lot of versatility with how easy it is to adjust? It also has a pretty good seatbelt path so is fine to use as a booster seat too.
