We recently set up a king single bed for DS, when looking for quilts and covers we struggled to find KS quilt covers we liked.

So I am thinking of returning our KS quilt (which I haven't opened) and buying a double.

Will the double fit okay? The queen will be the right length but width is too wide, double a tad shorter but not so wide on the bed?

So if you have a KS bed, what size quilt do you have? We have found most kids quilt covers come in single or double, which is why I thought swap for a double.

I did warn it was fluff...
Thanks

DD has a king single and we use a single Doona - it's fine. I think a double would over hang too much.

We have a double quilt on DD's king single, as I prefer it a bit longer.

Double, makes it really toasty on cold nights. We had to back to a single bed after using the king single, but still se the double blanket.

Less chance of the blanket being kicked off in my house too lol

I also use a double duvet on DD ing single bed and it works very well. Nice and easy to tuck in on both sides but it doesn't hang to low. Plus it's easy to find duvet covers for a double!

I used a double bed sized doona/cover on my single bed when in college... and now I have a queen bed I have a king doona/cover.

Extra doona is never a bad thing.
