When I set up our email account, I listed the email account name as my name, so that when people receive an email from the account, or send us one, it comes up as my name.

This has never been a problem because it has primarily been me that has been using it for work, and if DH used it, then it would tend to be just to friends so it didn't matter whose name it was in.

However, recently DH has started to do some contracting work from home which means that he often has to use the email for work purposes. So it no longer really suits that the email appears as just my name (don't ask me why I didn't put it in both names to start with?? )

Does anyone know how to change the name of the account? I don't need to change the email address, I just want to change the email name so that it appears as both of our names.

Can anyone help? I have had a look through the settings but am not sure if I have been looking at the wrong things ?

What email are u using? Gmail or hotmail or a IP?

Why not just set up a new account in the business name?

Then have 2 accounts.

Most Internet providers allow this, and for Hotmail/GMAIL etc it is the simplest.

This is the best idea. But otherwise, it depends on the client you are using to send mail.
If you can post the details I'm sure someone here will be able to solve it.
