Hosting a party 18 adults 12 kids
At this stage my thoughts are:
Most likely will be lunchtime
BBQ
Some sausages/maybe rissoles. 3 salads :green/changs noodle/pasta
Bread
Dessert: Fresh fruit watermelon and grapes/strawbs
Pav
Choc ripple
Fairybread (must have at any party wink.gif
Maybe cupcakes
Bday cake

Would you do this sort of thing?
Do you think BBQ is the easiest?
What other ideas do you suggest?

Thanks in advance

Tests Bbq is good I would be happy with what you have. My kids would be especially happy ifvthrre sausage was on bread with a bit of sauce. I find my kids at an outside party don't want to sit down to eat but will do so if that is what is expected of them. Iceblocks for thredbo kids if UTStarcom a hot day.

Yes, the easiest idea we have come up with.

We also do fruit skewers (use paddle pop sticks when kids are younger)

Hope you have fun.

Sausage in bread is always good!
Make it easier on yourself by pre cooking the sausages in boiling water. Then when you BBQ them you only have to heat them up and not worry about having to cook them all the way through.
Saves a lot of time and no burnt snags!
