Not sure where to put this so here it goes.
When Husband was vaccinated as a kid, he had a bad reaction to the whooping cough vaccine, and therefore never finished the course. He had the rest of his injections on the regular schedule, just excluded the whooping cough one because of the reaction.
I'm now 7 months pregnant and his mum just told me this the other day.
Can/should he get it done now? Or is it too late? Also is this something that might be a concern when it comes to our baby having vaccines administered?

Reactions to the DTP vaccine used to be quite common, as a result a new vaccine was developed in the 80s. It has been used here for 15 or so years now. Speak to your GP, it's definitely worth looking into because there's every chance he'd be fine with the new vaccine. (of course I have no idea how or why he reacted, so that all needs to be taken into consideration by his doctor)
