when i grow up i wanna be like me
Does anyone know of any nice places to get away for a weekend? Our anniversary is coming up in May and DH and I want to get away for a nice romantic weekend without the kids, it will be our first time alone in almost 7 years so we want somewhere nice with either a private spa/hot tub or spa bath original.gif

For our 10th wedding anniversary we spent a weekend in Fremantle. Stayed at a little boutique hotel, parked the car and walked everywhere. It was a great weekend. It wasn't exactly 'away' but it was out of our own four walls and we could do what we wanted without any kids! I also didn't want to drive down south (for eg) because the kids see quite little then, and if they had freaked out we could get home pretty quickly.

We've also spen a weekend in York which was also really nice.

where are you travelling from? How far are you willing to go? What kind of budget are you working with? Because that will really impact any answers!

We are in rockingham, willing to travel a couple of hours, I think about 3 max, no set budget but nothing too expensive.

We recently stayed at Abbey Beach Resort in Busselton, that was lovely. It's not too long a drive from Perth, but far enough away that you feel like you've escaped properly, if you know what I mean.

ETA - we're in Kwinana, and it was only about a 2-2.5 hour drive from memory
