We recently stayed at Abbey Beach Resort in Busselton, that was lovely. It's not too long a drive from Perth, but far enough away that you feel like you've escaped properly, if you know what I mean. http://www.abbeybeach.com.auETA - we're in Kwinana, and it was only about a 2-2.5 hour drive from memory
