Hi everyone,
My ds is 2 and 4 months. We've had quite a bit of success with toilet training up till now. Took an 2 weeks of consistency and now he is more or less wee trained. We still need to put him on the toilet every 20 minutes or so during the day. And if I need to go somewhere where I don't have quick access to toilets then I do pop on a nappy. Otherwise he also wears for night and afternoon sleep. My issue is we haven't managed a poo in the toilet yet, he will wait till after dinner and nappy on for his poo. Or first thing or after sleep time when he is still in a nappy. Tresillian says this is really common, and not to worry. Which I'm not but I do kind of want him to get one in, because I think once that happens we won't have too many more issues. Also he starts preschool on Thursday, how do I get them to deal with it there? He was jumping up and down this morning saying bum sore, so I tried the toilet and then put. A nappy. He used to poo quite a lot 2-3 times a day, now it's once....so I really don't want a constipated child.. Any advice wood be appreciated...both on how and what to do ant new kindy |
