| Life's not fair at times. So what? | |
|
I have moved on to the (almost) raw foods diet in order to lose 3 extra kilos I have put on during the Christmas break and so far, have put another 3 on... Can somebody shed some light please?
I have been on the diet for three weeks now and my typical day consists of 60% raw vegetables, 10% fruit, 10% dairy and 10% lean protein... My scales go up every day and I have a feeling that it’s not fat as such (normally extra fat rests around my waistline), but rather fluid retention. My stomach feels very bloated, my boobs are bigger and my overall body shape is just very round. Has anyone had that before? If it is fluid retention, how can I get rid of it? Many thanks |

Raw vegetables take up more room in your tract and cause bloating... Or something like that... So cooked is better when it comes to broccoli and the more dense veggies. On the otherhand, cucumber is really good to keep bloating at bay.
