I just came across this seat that says up to 10 years? Is this correct? I can't believe it! Finally!

Yes it is the first type F booster seat to be produced.

Type F booster seats are to be no more then 42cm wide at the bottom. They are to be for a minimum height if 135cm and are tested with a 36kg test dummy (32kg 10yo test dummy with 4kgs mass added to abdomen).

Current type E booster seats have no width requirements. Must be to a minimum of 128cm and are tested with a 32kgs 10yo test dummy.

TBH does not really do more then current HiLiner apart from narrower base.

I have a 35kg 8year old who unfortunately has always been to heavy and tall for any seat on the market for her age group, hence she was out of 5pt harness at 3 1/2 (pushed her til 22kgs) and out of her booster at 6 as she was just too heavy and tall. Her younger sisters are all still in their 5 pt harness seats at 6yrs, 4 1/2yrs and 6mth RF) so would love to get her one of these new boosters if they go til 10yrs!! or do you think she prob still to big? I havent tried her yet as we have no local baby stores...

I just read that it fit 95 % of 10 year olds and 50% of 12 year olds so maybe it would fit her! Even tho she's off the 8 yr old charts? anyone have one?

sanity is overrated
They are pricey! $469 I think I saw today.

Is the extra price worth it compared to say the hi liner or the infa vario?
