Far out! A date, with a real live male.

It's for coffee at night, on a Thursday. What the heck do I wear? How much makeup? What do I do with my hair? Have the dating rules changed recently?

EB help me!

Coffee on Thursday night

Jeans, heels, nice top & fresh make up. Hair straightened, sleek pony tail or if you have curly hair keep it natural.

Good luck and have fun!

Thanks PPs!

Not sure about jeans though- I'm in Qld and it might be too hot.

I don't think the rules of dating have ever changed really..

With what to wear I suggest something nice but casual, a nice tip with a good pair of jeans and cute flats is always good plus its for coffee so you don't want to look way over dressed.

With makeup it totally depends on how much you usually wear, I don't wear much makeup so if I am going out I will wear a bit more foundation coverage than usual, some mascara and some lipstick instead of a lipgloss. You don't want to look different just fresh original.gif

Wear your hair in a way that makes you feel confident, I know if I wear my hair down and straightened I have a little more sass than usual original.gif plus guys seem to like it when women wear their hair down for some reason :S

Good Luck and have a great time

Gosh this is all so scary lol

Thanks imatrying- that's awesome advice.

And what of 'the kiss' do you kiss on a first date? What am I getting myself in to?!

Apparently women seem more 'open and approachable' when they wear their hair down...
If it's too hot for jeans, perhaps a long or knee length skirt? Perhaps dress it up with some low heels if it's a bit casual?

Have fun! Don't be too nervous, he will be too!

I would go something similar to this. Cute skirt, low heels (or funky sandals), simple hair and make up.

Good luck!! Skirt
