Just a little excited today, as both my ds will be in full time school this year. After 8 years of being at home with at least one child, im free!! lol.

I know im still the parent and obviously theres homework, canteen, parent help ect, but im so excited!!!! Now i can: have coffee on my own, go to the libary and read, watch tv without having it turned to abc 3, go to the shops without tantrums, and do uni assignments!! Im thinking about a movie and massage if money allows to celebrate lol. oh and visiting the local waterslides for purely adult fun biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I will get to finsh my degree this year too, which will enable me to work school hours next year. Love having school kids!!!

Oooh, how exciting! This will be me next year! This is the primary (ha! see what I did there) reason we've stopped at four kids! I just couldn't put having all school kids off for another year! Congratulations!

purely adult fun

You get in trouble if you do that in public Tounge1.gif

I don't have kids, but I do understand how nice it is to be by yourself - the two days where DH is at work and I'm at home alone are nice in their "just me"-ness

I pick and arrange all my own flowers, Jerry!
GO OP !!

I was going to post the exact same thing tomorrow - Monday - when Miss-5 starts Kindy.

Oh woo hoo - both monsters - sorry, my darling girls will be in school - big sister, Miss-7-and-a-half is now in Year 2 and the little monster will be a Kindy girl !!

I will have 2 whole days at home by myself.

Peace and quiet.

No fighting or whinging or children underfoot.

*happy dance*

I have even found a yoga class to do on Tuesday mornings.

I literally can't wait. I will have the school bags packed, uniforms ready, lunches good to go - tonight !!

My war paint is Sharpie ink
And here I was celebrating having only 2 kids in my house tomorrow instead of the 6 or so that feature in the school holidays. tongue.gif
