How long would you give a roast chook in fridge before tossing? 1 day? 2 or more??

About 4 days. But I'm in the iron-guts camp. Plus I buy organic free range chickens so less likely to be infected with extra nasties.

I'd keep it about 3 days.

If I buy a bbq chook from Coles on a Friday night and it's not eaten by Sunday afternoon, I use the rest up in a risotto for dinner that night. I wouldn't keep it past that.

For me, depends who cooked it - the supermarket or you.
I cooked a whole roast chook last week for sandwiches, it was macro organic and once finely chopped, I kept it in an air tight container for three days. If it was a supermarket rotisserie chook - two days max. So, depends on a few variables for me - the type of chicken, where it came from, how it's stored etc. |

Assuming you are talking about home cooked?
If it had been put in the fridge fairly soon after cooking then 4 days. If it had sat out for a while during dinner (if it is the left overs you are talking about), then 3 days tops. If it came from the supermarket roasted, 2 -3 days tops I guess. |
