Just after some advice from others who have a bit more experience in the area please!!
(Prior to trialling no nappy DS didn't have a prolonged time of dry nappies but I suspected he may be waking and doing his first morning wee in the nappy because he knew he had one on. Something my 13 nights of dryness seemed to confirm? He has also been dry for 2x week long incidents while away on holiday over the past 18 months, another thing that made me think he was only weeing in his nappy once he knew he was in HIS room.)
DS has just turned 5 and we've recently trialled no night nappy/pull up (3 weeks). For the first 13 nights he only had 2 accidents, something that didn't bother me and I was happy with his progress. He was getting out of bed to use the toilet if needed and generally finding his way to our room, thinking it was time to get up. Easily redirected back to bed and settled back to sleep.
For the last 8 nights he has had an accident every night and this morning was telling me he wanted to wear a "nappy at bed time again".
Please give me some advice on where to go from here! Do I put him back in the night nappy/pull up and see how we go? or do I keep going and see if he reverts back to being dry and getting up?
(He has only gone back to school today so I don't think it has been an overtiredness issue, although I'm expecting that to be a problem for the next few weeks now).
Any advice/tips grately appreciated please?
