As per the title, I am seriously thinking of breaking into the tech savvy way of reading. Are they on sale anywhere that anyone knows of?

I got mine from Amazon last year, and it's at least $10 cheaper this year, just $89. I love it, and read all the time.

You can go through Amazon or go on ebay.com.au there are plenty for sale there. I got my paperwhite from there for pretty much the same price as if I had got it from the US

Have just been told they Are $99 at D& ck Smith at the moment! Going to go check them out tomorrow. Tough I seem to read a lot of conflicting no comparing the kindle to the Sony ereader or the Kobo.

Depends which kindle u want
I bought my MIL a kindle touch from Kmart or Big W last year.

Personally if you are a reader and getting an ebook reader I would go the kindle. You can get software that convert other ebook formats for your kindle if that is a worry.

Kindle may be more expensive but its worth it IMO

If you are going to get a kindle and you tend to read at night it may be worth getting the paperwhite as its got a lit screen ... i can read at night now without disturbing DH at all which is great
