Well ,y little manx kitten looks like he will need to the remainder of his amputated leg removed as he keeps banging his little stump and making it bleed sad.gif
The vet wants to wait a little longer to see if his wound toughens first but I can see its a hinderance sad.gif
I'm thinking its going to be expensive but he is worth it.

Train your dog, it's worth it!

The same thing happened with my cat, Stumpy. She kept using the damaged leg and would leave liitle bloody prints all over the house. She was so much happier once it was gone. Her half tail is so strong as it acts as her counter weight.
There's a video on ninemsn of a cat with only two legs, both on the same side, that gets around just fine. It's amazing how quickly animals adapt! Far better than humans!

If you feel that the situation is not going to improve, then speak with your vet again and bring the surgery forward. You have two young cats who are not going to slow down any time soon. You risk infection and further damage to the bone.
My two cents worth.

A vet I used to work with always said "cats make great tripods". ANd he was right. THey all seem to adapt really quickly to three legs and cope so well. Good luck.
