In another thread about school, I was amazed at how late some schools seemed to start. Our Primary school's core hours are 835am until 3pm. The high school I work at is 830am until 320pm. That gives a good 5 hours and 40 minutes of actual teaching time

What is your schools hours?

They start actual lessons at 9.

8.50 - 3.20.

eta kindy is 8.25 - 3.45

and yr 12 child is 10.30 - 3.15

just to confuse me.

8.55 to 2.55 here. Why oh why it can't be 9 to 3 is beyond me!

DD1 just started Kindie this year. 9:00am - 2:30pm for the first 5 weeks. Then it's 9:00am-3:00pm
