Holy Dooley!

Do you think by writing such a big list and looking at it is actually overwhelming to the point where nothing gets done?

Tomorrow for me:

Clean house
Maybe clean rental
Grocery shop

Far out. Don't you find writing it like that makes it daunting? I'd want to do nothing at all if I had that to get through.

Not at all, I am giving myself a week to do it, apart from the normall day to day stuff

I pick and arrange all my own flowers, Jerry!
I've gotta say that for *me* that list would be so overwhelming that I would just hide under the bed.

I've got a busy week coming up: Parent info meeting at the school, 2 x parent teacher interviews, usual 3 days of work, I am desperate to clean out the girls' bedrooms (x 2) and the normal, get the groceries, school lunches, clean uniforms, make sure homework is done .....

That's enough for *me* !!

Yes it would be for me too.

In reality all it really is, is cleaning each room from top to bottom. PBQ just likes to list every single job individually.

I much prefer to just have on my list

Clean lounge room
Clean bedrooms
etc
etc

It is not just cleaning either, for example Hayley's bedroom needs some painting done. Also everyone is different. And different parts of the rooms may get done on different days, depending on what else is happening.

Save me Barry!
Tomorrow I plan on booking a few appointments and going through my inbox and filing everything away

The rest of the week I plan on scrubbing down walls so that I can maybe, possibly beginning painting over the weekend and next weekend

.
Exactly. But like a pp, if I saw that list I would hide under my bed!

I don't make lists. I have a diary and on it tomorrow I have:

Housework (which will involve most of what's on PBQ's cleaning lists);
Dentist appt;
and that's pretty much it!

The rest of the day-to-day stuff just happens. And if I'm doing my housework tomorrow and I can't actually be bothered doing the skirtings, then I roll it over until another week! In actual fact, cleaning skirtings would probably be on my spring cleaning agenda!
