Thanks to whoever posted it- it was yuuumy! Got anymore recipes to share anyone? What have you made lately that was a hit? I need to expand my repetoire! I cooked it up til the 'simmer for 2 hours stage' then I dumped it in the slow cooker on low for 5 hours. Ad i only used 1 cup of water not 2! It freezes and reheats beautifully. I would use leaa chilli next time for the kids sake Oh and I used 1kg diced lamb shoulder. I think chicken thigh fillets would work too! |

We like the exclusively food chicken casserole too.
Hmmm, we also like Bill Granger's beef stroganoff with not a can of creamed soup in sight. |

I made this chilli con carne the other night http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/8862/chilli+con+carne (sorry on phone so link is dodgy) and it was really nice and suitable for DS who's 4. The only thing I changed was the stock - the blatant plug for a particular brand really annoyed me (I just used my own).
