About 4 weeks ago, I had an accident at the gym in which I fell over and landed hard on my right thigh. The next day I had a small blue bruise which I was sure was going to be much bigger due to he impact of my fall. I hadnt really been checking on how this bruise was healing until a few days ago because I had noticed that the site of he bruise was feeling sore again. I checked it on Monday and noticed that his bruise was quite red. I've just checked it again tonight and it is much bigger than what is was on Monday. I showed it to DH and he said it looks like I've bumped it again and cause a new bruise to form, but I know I haven't hit or bumped my thigh. He agreed that this bruise is looking more 'fresh' and seems to be getting bigger. It remains sore to touch. I am just wondering, is this normal after 4 weeks post injury? The bruise is flat so i am confident it is not a hematoma.
