It has been 2 years since the earthquake at 12.51pm. Not many words to say but we are thinking of you here over the Tasman, family and friends know it but for others that I don't know but are there-definitely in my thoughts..xx

Two years. It's been a reasonably sombre day today here in Christchurch, most workplaces and schools had a minute of silence at 12.51pm, and there were also plenty of memorial services.

It seems like it was so long ago, but then it also seems like yesterday. So weird.

It would be nice to get some insurance claims sorted out one of these years though. rolleyes.gif

Wow. I can't believe it has been two years. I am thinking of everyone in Christchurch and especially our EB members who were there and have family there.

Can't believe it has been two years. Still makes me sad thinking about, not sure if I could ever face going back (was born there and went to school for a few years), just too sad.

LOL, I was reading this and we've just been rumbled by a gentle aftershock - first one I've felt in a while. A 4.1, long and rolling.

Mother Nature is celebrating the anniversary too. original.gif

Give me my coffee and no one gets hurt!!!
We're watching a doco about the earthquake on SBS one now.

So sad to see buildings that we've been in, slept in, just reduced to rubble. DH is a Kiwi and I spent considerable time in CHCH, with work, when we lived in NZ.

Thinking of you all.
