 Advice to help kids adjust to new bub, Ages 5 and 3 |

As the title suggests please give me some advice on how to help DD1 and DD2 adjust to their new brother. We have been home nearly a week and its not been easy with the girls and I feel like I'm not dealing with it very well.
The baby is easy but the girls especially the 3 year old are acting up. DD1 is over sensitive and cries about anything. E.g. I didn't bath the baby when she wanted to, I wasn't the one who put her dinner on the plate. I find myself very frustrated with all the screaming. DD2 is throwing tantrums and screaming a lot too. E.g. She wants me to help her with her dinner, she keeps fighting with DD1, throwing toys around etc. The girls are used to me doing most of the caring for them and now others are helping such as DH and mum but they just want me. I have had a csection so can't even drive anywhere to take them out a bit. Baby is bottle fed so I can leave him if I have to for a little while. Any tips on how to help with the transition. |
