Hi. We are in the early stages of planning a trip to Hawaii next year. We will be renting a car so we can drive around and explore - we are wanting to go to the North Shore of Oahu and the Big Island at least. We are keen to avoid the resort hotels and to try and stay in bed and breakfasts and/or smaller places. Has anyone had any experiences with this sort of accommodation over there? It will be my husband and I and our three kids (9, 7, 5).
Thanks in advance |

I haven't done any b&b's on the islands yet but here's a link to the tourism site with a page about the b&b's available on each island: B&B Directory
Kona on the Big Island is my favourite place and I've always wanted to stay here but haven't had the chance, might get to in September. I've heard wonderful things about this place! Hawaiian Oasis Kona |

Thank you Kee. That B&B looks magic!
If you come across anything else in your travels, I'd love to hear about it! Regards. |
