> Rissloes, help needed ASAP

Went to go make Rissoles and i don't have eggs or bread crumbs....will they turn out if i don't use them?

I made rissoles without eggs once, they were a bit crumbly by the time they were cooked and fell apart - still tasted good though original.gif I only use breadcrumbs occasionally anyway. Good Luck!

Warning - occasional attempts at humour - not always successful
Not sure how you would go without egg - my Croatian mother outlaw used to use a wet bread slice through her mince mix for chevapi (which is a Croatian spin on mince shapes!)

How about hamburgers instead? My husband never adds anything to make his stick together and they actually do...

We are having meatloaf tonight - I had some rye bread I grated for the crumbs (and I had an egg)

They'll be okay, but the texture will be off and they'll be more likely to come apart. You can use quick oats instead of breadcrumbs, and try to work the meat a little more so that it is a bit stickier.

I use cooked rice instead of breadcrumbs and often don't bother with an egg.

freeze some form of bread, a few slices only takes and hour or so then grate it.
