I only caught a brief end of sentence this morning on the radio, that Peter Harvey is back in hospital and needs more care after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year. Does anyone know the rest of the story. I don't know him personally of course, but he was a great newsreader with a voice which made you sit up and take notice. Very sad.

I saw him the other night on "one plus one" on ABC News24 and I thought he didn't look well. Such a shame.

It does sound like he is very unwell and may not leave hospital.

It is sad.

Family experience with pancreatic cancer was that it is aggressive and very fast moving.

I read it too, and in my experience, when my dh was admitted, he died three days later. Not nice to think of for his family at all..

He interviewed me once years ago, it was a phone interview but it was so exciting to hear his voice on the other end of the line IRL. great voice
