DS3 has a broken leg with a soft cast on it but the last few days I have noticed considerable skin irritation on myself from when I pick him up and th cast rubs on me. It is very unpleasant! Is this a normal reaction? He has had it reinforced twice and it is only since the last reinforcement that I have noticed it. I'm concerned about his exposed leg rubbing on it all the time too. Apart from covering it is there anything I can do, apart from keep all exposed skin covered??

You could get some stockinette from the chemist to put over the length of it.
