My paed has suggested mixing a bit of formula in with some of my DS's solids to increase the calorie content, but I don't really want to make up a full bottle worth of formula to use such a small amount of it. I have a few satchets of formula to use (he wouldn't take them from a bottle, but hopefully he will if it's mixed with cereal) but want to know if I can freeze the rest and just defrost a bit each day. I don't think I can, but thought I'd check....

ETA - I'm breastfeeding, so have no idea about formula...

I don't know too much about formula either, could you maybe just mix the powder straight in to the food???

I am sure someone will be able t help/

Thanks Kate. I ended up just measuring the packet into 5 even lots, so instead of making up 200ml, I'm just using 1 portion and making 40ml each morning.
