Hey

I think my 13 month old, maybe trying to cut out a nap - atm he has 2 per day - morning and arvo.

I put him down about 8.45am (he had been up since 6am), but he is STILL yapping away to him self and playing with a squeeky book.

hugs

Liz

When she was 22.. the future looked bright.. she's nearly 30
Hahahahahahahaahahahah - day sleeps, what are they? wacko.gif

My 15 month old DS had 30 mins sleep yesterday, 30 mins the day before, it's driving me crazy lol..

Other days he will have an hour, maybe longer, but it all depends. He is sleeping 13 hrs at night without waking most nights, so I attribute it to that, but I'd like him to have a structured day sleep... laughing2.gif wishful thinking.... wink.gif

DS is 14 months old and still has 2 naps. Most of the kids in my mothers group are down to one a day, but i think thats mostly because theyre at daycare and the daycare cut them down to one as it was easier for them.

Maybe he needs to be up a bit longer now. DS is up for 3-3.5 hours between naps.

Depends on what we are doing that day.
If we are at home then she has 2 a day - is only usually awake for about 2 hours before she goes down for her first nap (about 1-2 hours).
Then she has one at about 3:30-4pm for about 45mins-1 hour.

If we are out for the day and get home after lunchtime then she sleeps for about 2.5 hours.

She sleeps about 12-13 hours at night with no wakeups too laughing2.gif grin.gif

My 14 month old has pretty much given up her morning nap too & now has one big 2 hour sleep at lunchtime. She was doing exactly what your DS is doing - just chatting away to herself & playing in her cot for an hour. I still actually put her in her cot in the mornings, and she is still happy to go there. Gives her a little break to be by herself. She just calls out to me when she is ready to come out again, usually after about 30 or 40 minutes. On the odd morning, she will fall asleep though, maybe once every 10 days.

Hi there

My almost 18 month old still has 2 a day, 3-4 hours in total and still sleeps 11.5 hours at night. I think he just wears himself out so much during the day!

Elijah has either 1 or 2 naps.
if he wakes st 7-8 am, he will have 2 naps. but if hes had a hard night, we both sleep until 9ish, so then he will only have one nap.
