Do you have trouble when you go from one snap setting to the bigger one.

DS seemed fine in his ittis but has now gone from the smallest setting where the tabs over lap to the next setting. Wish he would stop growing already wub.gif

Anyway it seemed a little loose around the leg and ideally a clip in between would have been better. But I went with it. DS has had 2 major poo leaks in a row since he has gone up a snap. Is this normal with snaps?

Is there anything I can do or should I stick to other nappies with the velcro for a bit?

I'd stick to the other nappies for a bit. That's definately the worst thing about snaps IMO. I have read on here too that some people just do the snaps up unevenly. ie. one side on a smaller setting than the other.

Yeah at the moment with ittis we have 1 snap showing the middle. We are sort of between snaps but i prefer a tigher fit. dd has a budda belly and small hips wacko.gif
thats why i like velcro... but dd undoes velcro on her nappies if there are no shorts or pants covering it!

if your bub is INBETWEEN two snap settings (for fit), another solution is "take up some slack" in the crotch, by adding another small booster. THis can make the leg gape close up a bit. DUnno, hard to know without seeing it, but it's worth trying a small booster in there, just to see if it makes a different.

some of our side snapping nappies, i add extra pairs of snaps on the wings, so there isn't such a distance between one size and the next size snaps.
