Hi All

Well DD is 2.5yrs old & Toilet Trained during the day but pees overnight. I'm currently using disposables...

Can anyone recommend a night knicker that would work?

I'm thinking of getting Genesa Forge (but I know Nikki is flat out) should i try any other brands?

Thanks waves.gif

my DD is in the same situation

we still use night nappies.

i know of someone who has two pairs of blueberry trainers for her child for overnight.

if you have nothing suitable, i would suggest a Kester Kovers AIO from Possum's Pouches or a bits for bots malden mills fleece pocket with a bamboo trifold.

with both those NN options, only ONE thing to put on your child.

I have seen a few Trainer Pockets online (so you could stuff them with however much absorbency your child needs)
- bumwear (brindabella baby)
- happy heiny trainers (the weewuns)
- starbunz learners (darlingsdownunder) more of an AIO style with optional pocket
but these are all PUL outer.

depends HOW MUCH she wees overnight too.
does she sleep right thru? or wake up for a drink and a cuddle? do you take her for a potty opportunity when she wakes?

also depends on whether you want a STAY DRY inner, or a FEEL WET inner on either the night nappy option or the trainer option. Do you want your DD to notice she has wet, or is your aim just to avoid nappy rush - in case wetting doesn't wake her up?

a night pocket with a fleece outer (hidden PUL) and a stay dry inner, is daddledoo nappies trainer. you find it under DADDLEDOO on the wahmnaps site. comes with a bamboo insert.

We've just started this with my 3yo, we're using Blueberry training pants and also some pocket trainers. She loves the blueberries as they are minky and girly, but they did leak a bit the first night when she obviously didn't "get it". The second night I got her up at 1am and they were wet but her bed was dry, she was dry after that. Last night I got her up at midnight, dry, and she stayed dry. SO it seems to be working.

My son night trained at around 2.5 and in the end we did away with the various nappy options and put a bed pad on the bed instead. He had the odd "accident" and we would just whip off the bed pad, pop on a new pair of pj pants and straight back to sleep. He never wet twice in one night and we still had the standard mattress protector on as well. We did this about the time his night nappy was almost always dry, (maybe 5 mornings out of 7). We haven't had an accident for about 6 months now so just took the bed pad off the other day as it seemed a bit redundant! Hope that helps, Emma
