Under everything, just another human being
How exciting there is a cross stitchers thread! I'm a nerdy X stitcher from way back! I don't have any projects at the moment, but will have to dig out the boxes of thread etc and start one now!

That software looks awesome Benkitty, I can't wait to see the Paddington when finished. And everyone else's projects look lovely. What fun!

I just finished a birth record/name plate for DS which I designed myself. Just have to get it framed now.

Wow I didn't know there was a cross stitch thread original.gif

This is what I am working on at the moment (not my pic, obviously): http://www.sewandso.co.uk/Images/Product/Legacy/46799h.jpg
I am so slow though, I have been working on her for nearly 2 years and am only about half way.

This thread is great. I never thought that there are a lot of other people out there doing cross stitching. Everytime I tell friends or people they don't know what it is.

I've been doing it since 2006 and I just love it. I've done a lot of projects as B-Day and Xmas presents and just started with my first baby sampler. My last project was a B-Day present for my girlfriend that loves dolphins. I can't get the photo uploaded so here's a link that I found of my Underwater World I did:

Kalita - I love your project. I did an angel for my mum a few years ago and it was really beautiful with lovely colours. Will try and find it on the internet to show you.

Hope to see more of everyones projects.

Wow just discovered this thread, I love doing cross stitch and have only just started after a long break. My son has requested a tiger one for his bedoom so will be searching for one shortly.

Absolutely love the Paddington Bear one.

These are the latest two I have finished

The polar bears look great IRL, I just couldn't get a good photo now they are framed.

DS loves them.

I love this cat, there is another that you can buy that is curled up in front of a fire. I am tempted to get it as well, and give them to my sister for her 50th next year.

But then I need to work out what to give the other sister as well.

I also bought this

quickly in spotlight the other day. I had no idea how huge it was. And have started on it.
