When I lived in NSW we always went to the Sara Lee factory outlet store to buy slab cakes. I'm trying to find somewhere in Perth that sells plain cakes for around 100 people, preferably NOR. Thanks.

I believe that "Cookies n more" in Malaga do them but they are mainly a wholesale type place so i dont know if you can just go in and pick it up. I bought DP a bday cake from there and had it delivered to his work as a surprise and I know they did all sorts of cakes and things.

If you know someone with a business or that has a FAL/now IGA warehouse card for Balcatta or Cannigvale
Thewy sell Saralee slabs of Choc /plain/ orange/ all types. Slabs start from about $24 - $35 depending on flavour.
I have a card might be able to help depends when you need the cake.

Otherwise you can order slabs from Coles or Woolies bakery.

If your close to a Crusty Kob bakery there is a few Vic Park/ Warwick and a few others I think you can get one ordered from them too.

I got DH's 30th birthday cake from Cookies and More in Malaga. They definately sell to the public and you can pick up. However they are decorated and you need to pre order. It was delicious cost approx $50 and probably would serve around 50 people.

Am pretty sure Harvester Fresh Frozen Foods on Gt Eastern Highway in Midland sell the Sara Lee slabs

Go to your local IGA ( mine is a super / progressive IGA - don't know if that makes a difference) they have them in large 36cm * 36cm for $11 ( just got one on Sat for DS's B'day) and they have them in half that size (sorry don't know the price on that one - I assume it would be about $4.50 / $5.

They are very nice. I got heaps of compliments on Sat!!!! But i did ice and decorate it very well!!!
