We are all about pumpkin scones here lately.

Other faves are chocolate slice & basic biscuits with whatever he have on hand (ie choc chips, jam drops, sultanas, hundreds & thousands, simple icing etc)

My all time favourite it my Brownies recipe. I love them and have just eaten one pice now! I'd have had two, but there are only two left, so I thought I should leave it for DP. He only has an hour in which to decide to eat it (I haven't let him know this wink.gif and if he doesn't, it is mine!

Assuming you want the recipe Tounge1.gif:

Melt 6oz (approx 100g) butter in a saucepan but don't boil. Add 1/2 cup of cocoa and stir through. Add 2 cups of brown sugar and 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence and stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat. Stir in 1 cup of flour (or 1/2 cup of flour and 1/2 cup of hazelnut or almond meal). Add two lightly whipped eggs and beat in well with wooden spoon.

At this point it could go into the oven in a slice tin at 180deg for approx 25 minutes.

OR:
you could add chopped walnuts or hazelnuts and bake as above;
you could stir through some choc chips - milk or dark whichever you prefer, and bake as above;
you could stir through roughly chopped chocolate of your choice, and bake as above. My favourite is Lindt 75% dark chocolate and I use at least 75g but any chocolate would work, and would make for a more gooey brownie.

For special occasions (or simply because I feel like it) I'll add all three optional extras, lol!
