Sheree - What is Maxalon for? Is it supposed to stop throwing up? I totally feel for you, because I have only thrown up once, and that's only because I drank my water way too fast when I had my dating scan last week. I felt so sick all day. I couldn't imagine feeling like that all the time. I constantly feel ill, but not enough to be sick. Thank God!!

Hello Babylee, Maxalon is given to help with the nausea and vomiting. I had it when I was pregnant with DD and had been taking it for a while this pregnancy too, but for some reason had a bad reaction to it this week. It was terrifying.
So now i've got to go and see my dr to see if there is anything else to give me that I wont react to, but may be able to live a 1/2 normal life and look after myself and DD. Thank god my parents and DH are fantastic and have been there to help with DD.

Good luck with your scan this morning JoJo. Hope it all goes well.

Chezz D, im exactly the same with the water, it tastes to foul to me at the moment. I'm also just really having ice cubes, and every now and then I feel like milk, so have 1/2 glass then bring it back up sad.gif I was also thinking about some soup, but I was really sick when pregnant with DD and I had chicken and corn soup but it was feral. Everything tastes to much different at the moment.

The only good thing about the allergic reaction was that DH got to see our baby. I couldnt see the screen, but at least I know that bub is going ok. The DR in resuscitation got the ultrasound machine out so he could see bub was ok. But he warned me before he started that He wasnt very good at using it. But DH got to see the heart beating, so that was the best thing about going in. Oh and we also found there is only one bub in there, no twins original.gif

jojo- you know what helped with the bloating? eating! how odd. I asked a preg friend and she said I should eat something (even though it was the last thing on my mind) and I feel better half an hour later. Feeling great today original.gif
Good luck with your scan!!

catherine - have fun at Muse, I hope the MS can hold off for the night.

babylee - How adorabele is the blob? I love it, I always look at my picture! Im the same with foods, I always used to eat heaps and constantly, now I dont eat and when I do get hungry I dont know what I want. Its so frustrating!

chezz - I can't get enough water! I have been told that you need 2L of liquid a day in any form including juices and soups, so just try and find something that works for you.

AFM - feeling much better today. Had a stressful day yesterday with the bloating and the PMS-like moods. I also got some brown spotting and started to really worry but looks like its stopped now. I told DF when I got home and he said that if it ever happens again to call him straight away and he'll leave work to come get me rolleyes.gif He's lovely but a little too protective at the moment I think. Work Xmas party tonight - lemonade in a champagne glass is my idea for hiding the baby!

Have a lovely weekend everyone hheart.gif bbabyflip.gif

I second OurLittleDarling - even though food is the last thing on your mind it helps. I have to nibble every half hour or i feel crapola! And trust me, the thought of food or even drink for that matter makes me gag.

Yesterday was my worst day so far, even beat the Gastro day i had a couple of weeks ago. I left work and got home at 12o'clock and proceeded to go to sleep til 3.30 - I had a migraine on top of the MS, My MS is 24hour and i can tell you now, it's the most sucky thing ever. DP made dinner and i could only eat half, then i had to rush into the toilet, rather than throw up it comes out the other end.

I then sat on the couch in tears, poor DP didn't know what to do - just said i should go see the doc. I tried telling him ladies have it worse than me and there's not a great deal the doc can do.

I hands.gif this only last til week 12 and not the entire pregnancy!!

Hi all,

Enjoy Muse Cathy and hope you make the car trip with no M/S original.gif

CAI80: you poor thing, yesterday sounded like hell for you sad.gif

jojo: I'm bloated too, I look 4-5 months pregnant... it's awful. I'm just drinking lots of water and eating small portions all day... also I'm not regular, so I'm taking metamucil to help nature along.. I remember my bloat went away around 3 months last time so I'm hoping for the same this time.

outlittledarling: sorry you had a bad day yesterday, hopefully the brown spotting is all gone. I hear you on the overprotective hubbys, mine is no better and I"m on my third pregnancy!

Sheree: glad DH got to see the blob, how sweet, but a pity you didn't. Glad you are over those nasty side effects.. what are you going to do now to manage the sickness? I feel for you.

chez: I second watermelon, it's a saviour for me or lime cordial in water, just changes it enough to be drinkable.

jmh: how come high risk, just the blood pressure? hope you still have a trouble free pregnancy hon

babylee: that's quite freaky with the birthdays and DDate... that would be awesome!

Hope all of todays scans went well and everyone got to see their blobs in action xx

AFM: Had Bellas Christmas concert today, she did so well, I was one proud mumma.. then Santa entered the room and she freaked, ran and hid up the back next to the window. I had to coax her back out, then Santa gave her a present.. so I think she might come around, if he keeps giving her things haha (isn't that his job).
Audrey is starting to feel better but has been awake since 5am... so... so have I.. so tired and a touch cranky, can't wait for DH to get home tonight for some cuddles.

take care all! original.gif

Hi Ladies,

Been a while since I've popped in here I think, thought best I post from work while I've got a spare moment as I'll probably crash when I get home, stupid tiredness!

Glad this new thread is only 2 pages so far so will start from scratch (sorry if I miss anyone from the previous thread).

Claire and Maverick&Goose - So sorry for both of your losses hhugs.gif , I wish you all the best with TTC again.

jmh077 - Sorry to heard you are already classified as high risk, hopefully the tablets bring your levels down.

Chezzd - Excellent news about your scan cclap.gif . Not sure about the water thing, though I find when water isn't appealing I add a bit of cordial flavouring which is nice or have milk with milo.

Sheree - Sorry to hear about your vicious MS, hope this settles for you soon.

Jojo82 - Those dreams are horrible aren't they, I had a dream the other night I had a miscarriage sad.gif Been paranoid ever since, especially as I had cramping the other day too.

Catherine - Hope you have fun tonight seeing Muse and the car trip is kind to you! original.gif

OurLittleDarling - Hope you have fun at your christmas party tonight and enjoy your yummy champagnade biggrin.gif .

I had a day like you mentioned the other day, lots of cramps and lower back pain, been bloated for about 2-weeks now, plus the other day I had some CM (sorry TMI) which was tinged brown and I freaked, but nothing since then, so trying not to have mini heart attacks daily and chill out.

CAI80 - Hope everything improves from today on and you start feeling good again so you can enjoy your preganancy.

Satiress - Hope you get a nice big sleep tonight, its hard when you already feel tired and the little ones get you up at all hours (my DD has been doing it a LOT lately, especially early hours).

AFM - Today marks 10 years that DH and I have been together, can't believe how quick that time has gone (also makes me feel old hehe). We went to the pub on our lunchbreaks (both working) and I ate WAY too much, so full to the brim and I'm struggling to keep my eyes open here at work yyawn.gif .

Tomorrow I'll be 8-weeks pregnant, still no MS, though exhausted daily, sore (.)(.)'s and getting a bit of a bloated midsection happening so not much hiding happening.

waves.gif to anyone I missed hope you are well!

Team Edward!!!
Hey ladies,

Just a quick drop in to let you know everything went really well today original.gif

Bubba was measured a week behind, but had a heart rate of 115 bpm. DS measured a week behind also at his first scan and the had caught up by the 13 week. So I think I'll still people I'm 7 weeks until then cause I trust that scan more! Lol also if I am only 6 weeks I would have got my BFP at 6 dpo which to me just doesn't seem possible!

Hi all!

Cathy hope Muse was fantastic - they put on a great show. Brissy just had U2 here the other day - big music in Oz at the moment! I'm going to see Jack Johnson on Monday - a bit of a quieter band, but I walked down the aisle to one of his songs so close to the heart!

Sheree glad you're on the mend and know bub is ok and no twins yay!

Our Little Cute about your DF. My DH is a super relaxed guy - nothing fazes him - not sure if that's good or bad but when I'm giving birth I think it'll be good!

CAI Sorry about your yucky ms - very much hope it leaves you soon

Satiress so funny about Santa - I was in Myer the other day near Santa and half the kids were screaming their lungs out - so funny!

Misheycat happy anniversary!!!

Jojo yay for your scan - must be so great still hanging out for mine at the 12 week mark!

frog 3 weeks yay -not long to go!

AFM - I am now officially on holidays Woo-Hoo!!! ddance.gif 7 weeks preggies this weekend. Not looking preggies, not feeling preggies, haven't put on any weight - very boring!!!!! But kinda nice I suppose too. Graduated from my Masters degree last Thursay excellent! No more study for me (great timing!). Other than that, bring on Christmas!

Oh yes - we don't have a thread question yet. How about - Christmas traditions that involve your kids - or Christmas traditions that you think you want to start with your kids or when you have your first.

I will be a first time mum - but I am thinking of having the kids make a Christmas tree decoration each year - might need a pretty big tree by the time they're teenagers though (and decide that they're way too cool for making decorations!) Would love to see though, how the decorations change over the years.

Jojo - I had my scan last Monday, when I thought I was 8 wks and measured 7weeks + 1 day...that would have meant I got my BFP 3-5DPO! So I can understand your doubt...I certainly do! Hopefully I am like you and will have caught up on the growing soon! I am having another scan on 20/12 to see. I will be either 9 or 10 weeks by then.

Dizzy - lucky you! I have one more week of school and have so already 'left the building'! Kids are over it to! I have drinks on Monday and Friday at work and have to get out of both...here comes the lying again!

Cathy - hope Muse was good and the ADS stayed away for you!

Frog - I can't wait for my 12wk scan either...just want to tell everyone! Make sure you take some time to rest with your reno's etc...

Michelle - congrats on your anniversary. I know what you mean about time flying by. I have been with DH for a bit over 6 years and it feels like yesterday that we met!

CAI80- Hope you're feeling better hun...let's just hope you are through the worst of it x

AFM: Well seeing my BF tonight, haven't seen her in person since I have been UTD and she will be expecting to have drinks so think I might be out of the closet so to speak. Then I am off to a Xmas party tomorrow. Also, friends got engaged yesterday so there will be another dinner during the week...more champagne to say no to! AND...I have 2 work functions! My operation "keep UTD a secret" will be going into overdrive this week...I will have to sharpen my lying skills and poker face!
Glad to be having a quiet day today as I am pretty tired ATM...only 5 work days left...bring it on!

Hope you are all having a nice weekend xxx

Anna
