Poor kid sad.gif

The beautician should refuse to do them.

sad.gif Hopefully the beautician then refuses to do it. Not because I'm anti ear piercing (shoot me down). I know I wouldn't do a procedure like that on a screaming, distressed child.

It seems so odd to me. Mine were pierced at 9 because my mum had some idea that was when I was old enough. I was so excited and don't remember it hurting. I can't imagine taking a child who didn't want to. it's not like vaccinations. That I accept is a little pain for a much greater good, but earrings!

WTF is wrong with people? This is entirely separate from the piercing babies debate, this kid is old enough to express her wishes, she's saying no. FFS.

My philosophy, like color TV, is all there in black and white

I'm at the beautician right now listening to a girl about the age of 5yrs beg & plead with her mum not to pierce her ears. She is distraught & crying & begging.

Just curious, what does the mother have to say?

Incredible! I was really hoping you meant the little girl was pleading for her mother not to pierce her own ears rather than the child's ears.
