As per the jar, it just says use straight away. It does have cream in it, so maybe it would split? But for me and 2 kids, I don't need the whole thing!! Has anyone done it successfully?

I would say it'd be fine.
Unless you're planning on doing dozens of jars at a time, you're only going to loose half a jar if it doesn't! |

Yeh you can freeze it, put it in an airtight container. Defrost it in the fridge only and heat it up slowly when you use it.
