Hi does anyone have some good recipes to make bread in a bread machine, I have just got one and the book does not have many recipes in it.

Thanks

Hi there,

What model and brand did you buy, as each brand/model are different in size etc.

Also keep an eye out on Ebay often a bread machine book comes up for sale.

Once I know what your bread maker is I will see if I can help you.

Cheers Felicity.

Hi Felicity

Thanks for replying, my breadmaker is only a standard one from Big W it is Living Essentials by Mistral.

The book does have basic recipes that I have tried and they have turned out alright but I like to have lots of recipes to choose from.

A silly question here I hope you can help me with is...if you use just normal flour what is bread improver?? they say you have to add this.

Thanks Tracey

Hi
I don't actually know what bread improver is but it makes the bread lighter if you are just using normal cake flour. I love homemade bread but also need it to be easy. I buy Laucke brand prepacked - you can get it ready to go in one little package with a yeast sachet inside. You can also get this brand in a 2kg and measure it out - I prefer this as I only like to make a medium loaf. You can get it in white, wholemeal and grain.
My next door neighbour just uses the same on dough setting and finishes off as rolls in the oven - can do the same for pizza dough.
Sorry but have lost my book.

Hi Tracey

You can get bread improver where all the breadmixes are in the supermarket. Also, you can get bread machine recipe books at those bread making shops that are around the place.
